CODE OF CONDUCT

Discipline of the highest order is expected from every student.

  • Students are instructed to be clean and tidy in their dress & all their belongings.
  • Students should be in their classes in time & shall sit according to their numbers.
  • Students are expected not stand or walk in the verandas of the polytechnic college during the class hours.
  • Absolute silence is expected when classes are being held.
  • Students should move silently when they go from one class to another.
  • Every student should greet teachers when they first meet them on the day.
  • No student is allowed to enter or leave the class room.
  • Uniform & ID card should be worn properly by all students on all working days.
  • Students should wear overcoats while doing experiments in workshops and laboratories.
  • Students are expected to take care in handling the property of the Institution. Any damage caused, must be paid for at the discretion of the principal.
  •  Students should bring their lunch & good table manners should be followed during the lunch time.
  • A gate pass from the head of the Department is required to leave the premises during the class hours.
  • Students are forbidden :
  • To smoke in the Polytechnic premises.
  • To write or make any marks on the walls or desks.
  • Students are not permitted to use cooling glasses inside the Polytechnic campus.
  • Students are strictly instructed to avoid bringing cell phones to the college. If found they would be seized.
  • Students found with intoxicating substances like drugs, alcohol etc., will be immediately expelled from the Polytechnic college.
  • I f any students indulges in eve-teasing/ragging, criminal action will be initiated against that student.
  • The polytechnic college authorities will not be responsible for misconduct or criminal offence outside the college.
  • Any type of disrespect, disobedience and indiscipline inside the campus will be seriously dealt with by the principal.
  • Every student should bring the Hand book to the college regularly.
  • Students who break any of the rules of the institution will be considered to have committed breach of the discipline and he/she will be liable for punishment by way of reprimand/fine/suspension/expulsion.
